I drove 6 hours to get tattooed by Grim and it was worth every mile!! Grim is a phenomenal artist that made my vision come to life in ways that exceeded my expectations! From booking my appointment to leaving with my favorite tattoo, my experience at Black Hive Ink was great.

Today my boyfriend got a neck tattoo, he went to a place prior won’t say the place because I’m not looking to bash them online. But the quote was 508. With a much smaller tattoo. And they were rude!! Not to mention they said and rising with the price.. He’s came to black hive twice prior and said hey let just check in here because they’re good (des and Chris worked on him Prior) and they work with you. 350 later, and a great experience, we’re happy. Lalo did such a great job, he was kind, and made him and I feel comfortable. He did such a great job on the design and we’re looking to go back for him to finish his neck tattoo. This is a great establishment, they work with you and care. Hands down a 10/10 experience. Not to mention the lady up front was great and made everything comfortable and answered all our questions. Looking to book myself a tattoo appointment next month with you guys! Lalo we’re coming back for more !!!

My oldest daughter just turned 18 and she wanted a tattoo so I told her that we will get a daddy/daughter tattoo. I chose Black Hive because my youngest daughter got a few piercings there and received great service. I told my daughter that I would get the same design as her so she picked a hibiscus flower...not the most masculine choice but it is something that bonds my daughter and I. She showed the artist a design from Instagram and 15 minutes later the stencils were ready. My artist was Cris who appearantly is a guest artist from Connecticut and my daughter had Samantha. Both were very personable and extremely professional. Both artists had light touches which made the experience very relaxing and stress-free. In the end we are both very happy with our tattoos and the overall experience is something that we will remember and cherish. Oh, the prices were more than reasonable so the value for what we got is very high. I'll definitely get my next tattoo there and more than likely will request Samantha as she understands the vision and subject matter for what I want done.
